This salsa I have made too many times to count. It’s so easy to prepare and tastes like restaurant quality. You are in charge of controlling the heat by removing or including the seeds of the jalapeño.
Easy Fire-Roasted Tomato Salsa

Ingredients
- 2 (14 ounce) cans of roasted tomatoes
- 1/2 - 1 jalapeño
- 1 white onion coarsely chopped
- 1 (4 ounce) can of diced green chills
- 1 generous handful of cilantro
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon Mexican oregano (regular will work)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Juice of half a lime
Instructions
- Drain the roasted tomatoes.
- Place all the ingredients into a food processor and pulse to desired consistency.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to marry flavors.
